Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Helping with hiring, training, and development of store staff.
• Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting company assets, including cash.
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Ensuring store areas meet company standards, including stockroom and sales floor.
• Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Managing receipt and return of merchandise and freight flow.
• Meeting productivity standards and assisting with merchandise ordering and stocking.
• Maintaining stockroom organization and ensuring the sales floor is effective daily.
• Planning and merchandising sales-effective items and implementing sales plans.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
