Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Follow all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, colleagues, and supervisors.
• Keep all areas of the store, including the stockroom and sales floor, organized and clean.
• When the Store Manager is not present, oversee hourly Associates' responsibilities.
• Process all SSC Corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD Policies.
• Help manage freight flow and stock replenishment.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Assist in ordering and stocking merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Help maintain stockroom organization.
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
• Assist in planning, merchandising, and maintaining Clip Strips and Power Panels.
• Participate in planning and implementing monthly Sales Planners.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
