Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates as delegated.
3. Performing all store functions and daily activities as directed.
4. Handling opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protecting and securing company assets, including cash.
6. Adhering to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
7. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
8. Ensuring all areas of the store meet company standards, including recovery.
9. Providing direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
10. Processing all corporate directives and store communications.
11. Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise and managing freight flow.
12. Meeting or exceeding productivity standards.
13. Assisting in ordering, stocking, and maintaining the sales floor and stockroom organization.
14. Planning and maintaining sales-effective displays and merchandise plans.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise up to 50lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
