Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
2. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
3. Assist in protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash.
4. Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
5. Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
6. Maintain all areas of the store to company standards, including recovery of the sales floor and stockroom.
7. If the Store Manager is not on the premises, take direct supervisory responsibility for all hourly Associates.
8. Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
9. Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies and procedures.
10. Help manage freight flow and stock organization.
11. Meet or exceed productivity standards.
12. Assist in ordering, stocking, and maintaining merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
13. Help ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
14. Assist in planning and maintaining merchandising displays and sales plans.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
