Job Responsibilities:

Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager. Support hiring, training, and development of store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including the stockroom and sales floor, organized and to company standards.
• When the Store Manager is absent, assume supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assist with receipt, return, and management of merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Support freight flow management.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Assist with ordering, stocking, and maintaining merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Help maintain stockroom organization and ensure the sales floor is effective daily.
• Assist in planning and maintaining merchandising displays and sales planners.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs of merchandise.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
