Our Metrowest retail client is looking for a Merchandise Assistant with 1+ years' experience for an immediate long term contract; this role requires 2 days onsite and the client is looking for strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes historical data to determine the needs for project locations and creates purchase orders. This analysis includes reviewing photos, existing site plans and project manager surveys.
• Partners across multiple departments to ensure orders are accurately created, shipped and delivered on time and installed properly.
• Responsible for acting as the primary contact for clients and vendors. This includes communicating in a timely manner, processing additional requests and providing support for installation questions.
• Plays a critical role in providing feedback on quality & delivery issues and supplier performance to ensure the Client expectations are being met.
• Creates and sends purchase orders for each specific store.
• Responsible for making sure that all projects stay within budget.
• Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills.
• Experience with Oracle and creating purchase orders.
