Overview

Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $24.00/hr

This merchandising & stocking associate role supports Sam’s Club members by ensuring products are available and easy to find. Responsibilities may include moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick-up orders, stocking shelves, and assisting members. The position can be physically demanding and fast-paced depending on the shift.

Responsibilities

• Promptly unload trucks
• Assist fellow associates as needed throughout the store
• Sort and stock products on shelves and in the backroom
• Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
• Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
• Ensure club pick up orders are filled and staged according to policy

What you’ll do

• Provide member service by acknowledging the member and identifying needs; assist with self-service technology and purchasing decisions; locate merchandise; resolve issues; promote products and services
• Maintain facility safety per company policies; conduct safety sweeps; follow forklift procedures; handle and dispose of hazardous materials safely; report unsafe conditions
• Maintain sales floor and merchandising presentation; zone areas; stock and organize; set up displays; price and sign merchandise; identify shrink and damages
• Monitor quality and rotation of food and merchandise; ensure proper dating, recalls, and sanitation; display promotional and seasonal items
• Comply with company policies and ethics; apply Open Door Policy in daily tasks
• Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, communicating progress, and adapting to change
• Support club pick up orders by selecting and staging items per policy
