Overview

The merchandising & stocking associate role supports members by ensuring products are easy to find, properly stocked, and presented in a clean, organized store environment. The role may involve moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick-up orders, and assisting members while stocking shelves. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding role that can resemble a gym workout depending on the shift.

Responsibilities

• Unloading trucks promptly and assisting fellow associates as needed throughout the store
• Sorting, stocking, and organizing products on shelves and in the backroom
• Engaging with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
• Maintaining a clean, neat, and member-ready area
• Ensuring club pick up orders are filled and staged according to policies
• Providing member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding purchases, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services
• Maintaining safety and following company policies, including forklift spotting, hazardous materials handling, and safety reporting
• Maintaining sales floor and merchandise presentation by zoning, stocking, and pricing according to policies
• Ensuring product quality, rotation, dating, recalls, sanitation, and prominent display of promotional merchandise
• Supporting with priorities and deadlines, collaborating with managers and co-workers, and addressing improvement opportunities
• Supporting the processing of club pick up orders and staging per policy
