Job summary

Fossil Group, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Distributor to join the Planning team. The role focuses on merchandise allocation to optimize store sales and achieve inventory targets. You will generate and analyze reports, manage allocations, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

The position offers a hybrid schedule with onsite work from Monday to Thursday and remote work options on Fridays. A background in retail planning and strong Excel/SAP skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Merchandising, Business, or relevant studies preferred.
• Some experience in planning, buying or allocation strongly preferred.
• At least 1 year retail experience and knowledge of retail math.

Responsibilities

• Distribute and replenish product to stores to maximize sales and meet inventory objectives.
• Generate reports including style-selling and sell-through analyses.
• Organize sales and allocation reporting and assortment grids daily.
• Create system-generated orders to allocate inventory and meet budgets.
• Maintain orders and track shipments from distribution centers to stores.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate assortment and execution.
• Identify opportunities for merchandise, stores, and promotional ideas.
• Assist in forecasting and analysis to determine future sales and inventory needs.
