Job summary

Fossil Group seeks a Merchandise Distributor to manage allocation and inventory planning for our Watch Station team. This hybrid role requires onsite work Monday through Thursday with remote Fridays, supporting sales objectives across stores.

You will generate reports, optimize assortments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate allocation strategies and timely deliveries. A Bachelor’s in Merchandising or related field and retail experience are preferred.

• Experience in planning, buying or allocation preferred.
• Retail experience required (1+ year).

Responsibilities

• Distribute, allocate and replenish product to stores to maximize sales.
• Generate reports including style-selling and sell-through analyses.
• Organize sales and allocation reporting and assortment grids daily.
• Create system-generated orders to allocate inventory and meet monthly budgets.
• Maintain orders and track shipments from distribution center to stores.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate assortment and allocation strategy.
• Identify opportunities for merchandise, stores and promotional ideas.
• Forecast and analyze future sales and inventory needs.

Make An Impact:

We are currently looking for a Merchandise Distributor to join the Fossil Planning team. This candidate will be responsible for merchandise allocation for our Watch Station team in order to meet sales objectives.

This role is a hybrid position, requiring you to be onsite Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

What you will do in this role:

• Distribute/allocate and replenish product to the stores to maximize sales by setting system parameters to achieve sales and inventory objectives

• Generate various reports, including style-selling and sell-through analysis, to assist in meeting sales, inventory, and accuracy objectives

• Organize sales and allocation reporting and assortment grids on a daily basis

• Responsible for creating system generated orders that accurately allocate inventory and meet monthly budget requirements

• Maintain orders in the system and track shipments from the distribution center to ensure timely arrival to stores

• Communicate with cross functional teams to ensure accurate assortment, allocation strategy, and successes within stores.

• Assist in identifying opportunities for merchandise, stores, and promotional ideas

• Assist in forecasting and analysis to determine future sales and inventory needs

Who You Are:

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Merchandising, Business, or relevant studies preferred

• Some experience in planning, buying or allocation strongly preferred

• At least 1 year or more of retail experience

• Understanding of retail math, retail vocabulary, and Microsoft Excel formulas to analyze sales and inventory data

• Strong verbal. written communication, and analytical skills are required

• Results in focused, detail oriented skills and takes pride in accuracy

• Self motivated, has the ability to independently organize and resource, and has a strong sense of urgency

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel) and Google Enterprise products

• SAP knowledge preferred
