Pay Range: $100,000 - $160,000

About the Role

A Mercedes Master Technician with at least 5 years of Mercedes Diagnostic experience is responsible for troubleshooting and fixing complex mechanical and electrical vehicle systems, providing excellent customer communication and ensuring a high‑quality repair process.

Responsibilities

• Use computerized diagnostic tools to troubleshoot engine, electrical, chassis, and transmission systems.
• Perform complex repairs and routine maintenance based on diagnostic results.
• Interpret diagnostic codes and technical manuals to identify faults.
• Explain technical issues, repair needs, and cost estimates to customers and service advisors.
• Road‑test vehicles to ensure repairs meet manufacturer standards.
• Maintain accurate records of diagnostics, repairs, and parts used.
• Inform the Shop Foreman of difficulties with repairs and any need for additional support.
• Keep comebacks below two percent as defined by the shop foreman.
• Attend training seminars, shop meetings, and service schools for self‑development.
• Assist other technicians and apprentices, accepting overtime and helping with parts fulfillment.
• Follow safety policies and use personal protective equipment; demonstrate professionalism and represent the company.

Qualifications

• Mercedes Master Technician with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and continuous product knowledge improvement.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR); ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Complete and up‑to‑date set of tools.

Physical Demands

The role requires adequate manual dexterity, visual acuity, the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, perform repetitive hand movements, and work in extreme weather conditions. Regular, punctual attendance and evening/weekend work are required.
