Job summary

Gilbane Building seeks an MEP Superintendent to independently supervise area of trade contractors on a $30M+ project. You will be on the job site daily and play a key role on the project team.

You will lead MEP coordination, enforce safety, and coordinate with owners, designers, and subs. A bachelor’s degree and 4–8+ years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 4–8+ years of experience on $15–$30 million or larger projects as a superintendent.
• OSHA 30-hour certified; STS-C certification.
• First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed training.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day coordination of trade partners and sub-contractors to meet schedule.
• Develops and communicates field work plans and changes.
• Maintains understanding of contract documents to anticipate problems.
• Leads contractor meetings and maintains daily reports and schedules.
• Plans and manages site logistics and safety in the field.
• Mentors junior engineers and assists in scope writing and buyout.
