Job summary

LeoForce is seeking an Assistant Superintendent- MEP in Olathe, KS to lead mechanical, electrical, and plumbing efforts across projects. You will ensure schedules, budgets, and safety standards are met while coordinating with design teams and field staff.

The role requires at least 5 years in construction with MEP focus, a degree in engineering, strong leadership and communication, and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction with a focus on MEP systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience managing MEP on large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSH guidelines.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all MEP aspects of our construction projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate and supervise the work of all MEP subcontractors, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the project plans and specifications.
• Review and approve MEP designs and plans, and ensure they are implemented correctly on-site.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure the smooth progress of the project.
• Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.
• Ensure all MEP work complies with all relevant safety and quality standards.
• Provide technical advice and resolve any emerging issues related to MEP systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of systems and equipment.
• Manage the procurement of materials and equipment for MEP systems.
• Prepare and present reports on the progress of the MEP aspects of the project to senior management.
