Job summary

ARCO Companies is seeking an MEP Superintendent to oversee all MEP activities on large-scale data center projects, from the data hall fit-out through commissioning and energization. You will ensure quality, safety, and schedule compliance while coordinating subcontractors and driving successful delivery.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of MEP supervision experience, with at least 3 years on data centers, and hold a relevant degree.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

ARCO/Murray is seeking an MEP Superintendent to oversee all MEP activities on large-scale data center projects up to and including the data hall fit-out and final stages of commissioning/energization of equipment. You’ll ensure quality, safety, and schedule compliance while coordinating subcontractors and driving successful project delivery.

A Day in the Life:

  • Oversee all MEP field operations for data center projects
  • Coordinate installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and safety standards
  • Manage subcontractor performance and resolve field issues
  • Monitor project schedule and report progress to project management team
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks for MEP systems
  • Collaborate with commissioning teams to ensure system functionality
  • Maintain accurate documentation of field activities and testing
  • Lead daily coordination meetings with trade partners

Necessary Qualifications:

  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed
  • Possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license in your state of residence
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 5–10 years of experience in MEP supervision, with at least 3 years on data center projects
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Experience with commissioning and integrated systems testing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • OSHA certification and familiarity with safety protocols
  • Possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license in your state of residence

Typical base compensation for the MEP Superintendent role is between $120,000.00 - $160,000.00. Candidates with extensive experience may exceed this range. In addition to the base salary, the role is eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation based on individual and company performance.
