Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking an MEP Senior Field Coordinator to join our MEP Building Technology team on projects across Virginia, including Richmond, Culpeper, Ashburn, Herndon and Manassas. This is a full-time, in-person role based in Virginia.

You will oversee coordination and installation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and special systems, lead trade partners, track schedules, QA/QC, and support startup and commissioning to deliver projects on time and to quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial construction experience with large MEP systems.
• Proven ability to manage workforce requirements, monitor project progress, and resolve field engineering challenges.
• Experience managing construction of complex MEP infrastructure projects such as data centers, airports, or other special-use facilities.
• Strong communication and leadership skills for managing client and trade partner relationships.
• Preferred: Familiarity with scheduling tools and QA/QC processes.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.

• Manage punch lists, troubleshoot field engineering issues, and oversee start-up and commissioning activities.
• Collaborate with project teams from pre-construction through commissioning and close-out to ensure successful delivery.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and design partners while supervising trade partners and vendors.
