Job summary

Yearout Mechanical is seeking an experienced Quality Control Representative to ensure HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems meet contract documents and codes on construction projects in Texas and the Southwest. The role serves as the primary quality resource, coordinating testing, commissioning, and documentation with project teams and owners.

Responsibilities include developing QC plans, reviewing shop drawings and submittals, conducting on-site inspections, and addressing deficiencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour Certification preferred.
• 7+ years of commercial or industrial mechanical construction experience.
• 3+ years in a Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or field leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific Quality Control Plans.
• Review drawings, specs, submittals, RFIs, and contract documents.
• Conduct field inspections of HVAC ductwork, piping, plumbing, and related equipment.
• Coordinate and witness testing and commissioning activities.
