Job summary

BL Harbert International, LLC seeks an MEP QC to support the QC Manager, Project Manager and Project Superintendent in managing and administering all aspects of the project’s mechanical, electrical, plumbing/piping, and fire protection operations.

The role requires five years of formal training and experience on industrial, commercial, or federal projects, along with a strong understanding of MEP systems and the ability to interact with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and craft

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of formal training and experience on industrial, commercial, or federal projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and controls systems as it pertains to installation, coordination, operation, and start-up and commissioning.
• Ability to interact effectively with project team members, clients, subcontractors, and craft employees.
• Must be capable of obtaining or possessing inspection licenses and/or certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Assess sub-contractors' capabilities to meet the quality requirements of the project.
• Be responsible for the performance of all MEP inspection and testing activities.
• Assist with design reviews and contract document/code conformance on Design-Build projects.
• Own the MEP & FP submittal process and ensure turnover documentation is maintained and delivered on schedule.
• Maintain project quality records and quality audit plans for construction.
