Job summary

BL Harbert International is seeking a skilled MEP QC professional to support the QC Manager, Project Manager, and Superintendent in overseeing mechanical, electrical, plumbing/piping, and fire protection operations on our projects.

This role requires five years of experience on industrial, commercial, or federal projects, strong MEP knowledge, and the ability to manage inspections, testing, and documentation turnover in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Five years of formal training and experience on industrial, commercial, or federal projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and controls systems for installation, coordination, operation, and start-up.
• Ability to interact effectively with project team members, clients, subcontractors, and craft employees.
• Must be capable of obtaining or possessing inspection licenses and/or certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Support QC Manager and project team in managing MEP/FP operations.
• Oversee all MEP inspection and testing activities.
• Manage design reviews and code conformance on Design-Build projects.
• Own the MEP & FP submittal process and documentation turnover.
• Maintain calibration records and ensure testing equipment is certified.
• Keep quality records, audit plans, and training site staff on quality programs.
