Job summary

Ardmore Roderick seeks a Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Quality Control (MEPQC) Construction Engineer for the Memphis International Airport field office. You will coordinate QC activities, review contract documents, and work with owners, architects, and subcontractors to ensure a compliant, high-quality project.

You will lead inspections, manage RFI and submittal processes, and support closeout documentation while maintaining project schedules and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from accredited degree program.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
• Construction experience that bridges both field and engineering responsibilities.
• Understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
• Advanced computer skills, proficient in project management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Execute QC Plan with scopes of work and procedures coordinating with safety plan.
• Develop working knowledge of contract documents.
• Assist DFOW log development in MEP-centric pieces.
• Chair or attend pre-installation meetings to communicate scope to trade partners.
• Perform material delivery inspections for compliance with submittals.
• Conduct First Work In Place observations and attend Mock-Up reviews.
• Perform daily QC inspections on-site and arrange third party testing/inspections.
