Job summary

Group PMX in Chicago is seeking a qualified MEP Quality Manager for the O’Hare International Airport Project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in MEP QA/QC roles, ensuring compliance with aviation project standards and regulations.

Your responsibilities will include developing the Quality Management Plan, overseeing inspection and testing, and managing the QA/QC team to ensure safety and compliance in a high-security environment.

A Bachelor's degree in engineering and 10+ years of relevant experience are required for this role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of MEP construction experience, with 5+ years in QA/QC roles.
• Direct experience on aviation or large transportation infrastructure projects required.
• Experience working in active, phased construction environments strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the MEP Quality Management Plan aligned with aviation project standards.
• Ensure all MEP installations comply with contract specifications and regulations.
• Oversee inspection and testing of all relevant systems in an airport environment.
• Maintain detailed QA/QC documentation for airport authority acceptance.
• Lead QA/QC team to promote a culture of quality and safety.

Skills

Knowledge of aviation-related MEP systems

Familiarity with integrated systems testing

Proficiency with QA/QC platforms

In-depth knowledge of applicable standards
