Our dynamic company is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Permanent MEP Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for our Data Center Ground Up Construction projects. This is a highly specialized role that requires a unique blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a deep understanding of data center infrastructure. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our data center construction projects, maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all aspects of the MEP systems for our data center construction projects, including design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
2. Work closely with the project team, including architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
3. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
4. Coordinate and supervise the work of the MEP contractors, ensuring that work is performed in accordance with project specifications and standards.
5. Review and approve MEP design drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
6. Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
7. Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project, implementing effective solutions to keep the project on track.
8. Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, budget updates, and risk assessments.
9. Continually monitor the latest trends and developments in data center construction and MEP systems, implementing best practices to enhance project performance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in data center construction, with a strong focus on MEP systems.
3. Proven track record of managing successful data center construction projects from start to finish.
4. Deep understanding of data center infrastructure and MEP systems, including HVAC, power, cooling, and fire protection systems.
5. Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues and challenges.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
8. Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as MS Project, AutoCAD, and BIM.
9. Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is preferred.
10. Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
