RoviSys Building Technologies in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Project Manager to lead our Building Automation team from start to finish. You will guide engineers, manage scope, schedule, and budgets, and serve as the primary commercial contact with customers.

The role requires 3–5 years of project leadership, a solid grasp of HVAC systems, and experience with MS Office, MS Project or Primavera. Onsite commissioning and field coordination are a plus; we offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project leadership experience.
• Experience organizing, scheduling, and leading meetings with internal teams and customers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera.
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems in large buildings.
• Basic understanding of sequence of operations and P&IDs for HVAC and plant utilities.
• Basic understanding of instrumentation and control valves.
• Building automation or industrial controls experience is a plus.
• Onsite commissioning experience is a plus.

Overview

RoviSys Building Technologies is looking for a Project Manager for our growing Building Automation team. PMs must have the ability to manage projects from start to finish, while leading a team of engineers ata high level. Experience with project financials, reporting, invoicing, procurement, drafting change orders, and coordination with customers.

Responsibilities

Project Management Task

• Accountable for project margin and takes steps to increase the financial health of the project.
• Establish schedule for projects and carefully monitor project for completion.
• Review and monitor potential sources of risk and strategies for mitigation.
• Presents Project Schedule, Scope, and Resource Plan to divisional Director/Group Manager.
• Serve as the primary commercial contact for customers.
• Determine causes of deviations from the project plan or schedule and the recommended corrective actions.
• Participate in divisional staffing and is adept at securing and sharing resources.
• Manage large projects and/or multiple concurrent projects.
• Regularly communicates directly with account manager, group manager, division director on project and/or account status.
• Demonstrate the ability to balance project finances, customer satisfaction, and team development.
• Demonstrate excellent communications, planning, organization, leadership, and motivation skills.
• Contributes todevelopmentof tools thatfacilitateproject management.

Documentation and Engineering Oversight

• Enforce quality plans for projects and monitors projects for quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Responsible for final technical approval of engineering solutions and designs for projects.
• Provide technical guidance to project team when required.
• Enforce use of engineering standards.
• Participate and contribute to QMS.

Project Financials and Contracts management

• Responsible for accurately forecasting resources for their projects.
• Responsible for project financials including but not limited to: Project Financial Reporting, Cost projections/cash flow reporting, Monthly job Invoicing, Quantify and draft change orders.
• Capable of negotiating Terms & Conditions with customers.

Employees' Growth

• Provide feedback to Group Managers to assist with employee appraisals.
• Createpositivework environment to promote the development of newer engineers.

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of project leadership experience – project management or technical lead
• Experience organizing, scheduling, and leading meetings with internal teams and customers
• Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Microsoft Project, Primaveral or similar
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems in large building automation systems.
• Basic understanding of sequence of operations and P&IDs for HVAC and plant utilities.
• Basic understanding of instrumentation and control valves for HVAC systems.
• Building automation and/or industrial controls experience (Rockwell, Schneider, AVEVA, Inductive Automation) is a plus
• Onsite commissioning experience is a plus
