Micone Staffing seeks an experienced MEP Project Manager for a landmark arena development project in Reno, NV. You will lead MEP scopes from preconstruction through turnover, coordinating HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of MEP PM experience on large-scale commercial projects, with a track record on high-profile venues. Relocation assistance is available and compensation ranges from $150,000 to $200,000+ DOE.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of MEP Project Management experience in commercial construction.
• Experience on arena, stadium, hospitality, casino, convention center, or complex projects.
• Experience managing MEP scopes on projects valued at $100M+.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead all MEP scopes for a large-scale arena construction project from preconstruction through turnover.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, controls, and specialty systems.
• Manage MEP subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Drive BIM coordination and clash resolution efforts.
• Review drawings, specs, submittals, RFIs, and commissioning requirements.
• Monitor procurement schedules for long-lead equipment and critical building systems.
• Collaborate with Project Executives, Superintendents, Design Teams, and Ownership Groups.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, change orders, and project financial performance.
• Support commissioning, startup, testing, and owner turnover activities.
• Ensure all systems are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards.

We are seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to join a nationally recognized heavy commercial general contractor on a landmark arena development project in Reno, Nevada.

This is a rare opportunity to play a key leadership role on a large-scale entertainment venue that will become a destination for sporting events, concerts, conventions, and community gatherings for years to come.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and specialty building systems on large-scale arena, stadium, hospitality, resort, casino, convention center, airport, healthcare, or other high-profile commercial construction projects.

Preferred Background

• 7+ years of MEP Project Management experience within commercial construction
• Experience on arena, stadium, hospitality, casino, convention center, entertainment venue, healthcare, airport, or similarly complex projects
• Experience managing MEP scopes on projects valued at $100M+
• Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems
• Experience working for a General Contractor preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Proven ability to manage large teams, schedules, budgets, and client relationships
