Job summary

Interplan LLC is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead MEP design projects in Altamonte Springs, FL. You will manage scope, schedules, and budgets while ensuring technical quality and coordination across disciplines.

This on-site role requires strong leadership and client-facing communication to uphold design excellence. Responsibilities include mentoring junior staff, coordinating across teams, and maintaining budgetary control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–7 years of management experience.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical and plumbing design development, ensuring systems are efficient, code compliant, constructible, and aligned with client goals.
• Monitor project budgets and schedules, keeping deliverables aligned with client and firm expectations.
• Lead multidisciplinary coordination efforts across MEP and other Interplan teams.
• Represent the MEP team in coordination meetings and communicate design intent clearly to stakeholders.
• Mentor and coach junior staff for technical growth and professional development.
• Create and manage project budget sheets and review budget-to-actual reports.
• Build strong client relationships through responsive, high-quality service and clear communication.
