Job summary

Scott Humphrey Corporation seeks an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead delivery of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on large-scale data center and mission-critical projects. You will manage MEP scope from design coordination through startup and commissioning, across budgets from $20M to $100M+ and collaborate with project leadership, design teams, trade partners, and clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of MEP project management experience on commercial or industrial projects.
• Proven track record managing MEP scopes on projects $20M+ in value.
• Deep technical knowledge of data center MEP systems (cooling, power delivery, backup generation, controls).
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems integration and coordination.
• Project management software expertise (Primavera, MS Project, or equivalent).
• Experience managing trade partner teams (mechanical contractors, electrical contractors, plumbing).

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage MEP project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Lead MEP trade partner selection, negotiation, and performance management
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design and installation with project requirements and critical path
• Review submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders for technical compliance
• Manage MEP material procurement, delivery schedules, and logistics
• Oversee MEP installation quality, testing, and commissioning
• Coordinate with structural, architectural, and other trade teams to resolve conflicts and optimize sequencing
• Manage MEP workforce planning, safety, and labor relations
• Develop and present MEP status reports and metrics to project leadership
• Lead troubleshooting on technical and performance issues in real time
• Ensure MEP systems meet design specifications, codes, and client requirements
