Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems in Santa Barbara, CA, is seeking a capable Project Coordinator to support multimillion-dollar commercial MEP projects. You will act as a key communication link among internal teams, customers, and vendors, helping with estimating, scheduling, and design within a design-build framework.

You will liaise with departments, assist Purchasing with scope and timing, and oversee installation coordination.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of industry experience or a combination of experience and education.
• Educational concentration in Mechanical Engineering is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in liaising with internal departments, including accounting, purchasing, engineering, construction, fabrication shops, and legal.
• Coordinate purchasing scope, pricing, submittals, and delivery timelines for items.
• Coordinate installation procedures among Engineering, Construction, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee onsite job progress and resolve operational and installation challenges in real time.
• Direct daily administrative workflows including Document Control, RFIs, daily logs, POs, MOPs, submittals, and procurement logs.
• Coordinate personnel activities, plan workflows, and track labor, materials, and deliveries to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Identify and elevate project risks and drive solutions with the Project Manager.
• Build relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and field personnel through OAC, kickoff, and foreman meetings.
