Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems seeks a Project Engineer to coordinate technical aspects of assigned projects, reporting to the Sales Manager and collaborating with clients, architects, and vendors. Opportunity to grow in estimating, scheduling, and design within a BIM-driven design-build process.

You will draft critical docs, coordinate meetings, perform takeoffs, track procurement, and monitor progress to maintain budget integrity and quality.

Qualifications

• Draft and manage critical project documentation (proposals, letters, memos, subcontracts, change orders, RFIs).
• Organize project meetings including BIM coordination and scheduling reviews.
• Perform takeoffs, quotes, bid estimates, and change orders packages.
• Interpret plans to monitor progress, enforce quality, and resolve installation challenges.
• Lead procurement tracking and vendor/subcontractor buyouts; ensure on-time delivery.
• Track labor, forecast needs, review invoices, and prepare client billings.
• Travel 0-10% to other locations.
• Non-exempt, Monday–Friday, 8:00–17:00 with breaks.

Responsibilities

• Draft and manage critical project documentation and procurement records.
• Coordinate BIM activities and participate in project kickoffs and scheduling reviews.
• Perform material takeoffs and assemble bid estimates and change-order packages.
• Monitor field progress against plans and enforce quality and safety standards.
• Oversee vendor/subcontractor buyouts and procurement tracking.
• Develop labor forecasts and client billings to protect budget integrity.
• Lead project closeout with O&M, commissioning docs, and as-builts.
