Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking aProject Engineer - MEP to support multiple commercial construction projects. You will collaborate with Project Managers and PMA staff, ensuring teams have the correct information and resources to succeed.

You will maintain schedules, prepare submittals, coordinate with architects and engineers, and assist with change requests and close-out documentation. A strong communicator with a proactive, detail-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering field and 2+ years in a commercial construction environment.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, and follow instructions.
• Must adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Willingness to travel infrequently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project tracking reports to monitor productivity and labor utilization.
• Create and maintain internal project schedules.
• Prepare submittals based on drawings, specs, and vendor information.
• Coordinate with architect/engineer and project team on submittals.
• Assist PMs by preparing backup for change requests.
• Support project close-out documents per contract.
• Distribute contract documents to subs and vendors.
