FlatironDragados is seeking a Project Engineer - MEP to track and analyze cost data, ensuring projects stay on budget on a landmark East Coast infrastructure expansion.

You will monitor resources, review drawings, and maintain schedules while coordinating RFIs and subcontractor work for the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel project. This role emphasizes cost control, safety, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• 3+ years construction engineering experience.
• Experience with cost accounting, budgeting, and project controls preferred.

Responsabilités

• Meet with engineering and field crews to review production schedule and confirm resources.
• Review shop drawings, design specs, material requirements, and project data.
• Provide input for project work plan and scheduling.
• Identify budget and schedule risks and propose mitigations.
• Evaluate daily production, schedule and budget projections for performance tracking.
• Update project schedule weekly for owner and management reporting.
• Prepare and manage a three-week work plan and notify of schedule changes.
• Manage RFIs and ensure timely resolution.
• Record accurate project quantities for cost reporting.
• Coordinate invoicing with accounting for materials and subcontractors.
• Review certificates, permits, and Job Hazard Analyses for safety compliance.
• Coordinate subcontractor work methods, schedule and crews.
