Job summary

CJD Engineering LLC is seeking a full-time MEP Project Engineer to join our team. You will develop 2D/3D system layouts, produce construction documents, and refine designs using AutoCAD and Revit MEP for projects nationwide. You’ll collaborate with architects, contractors, and engineers to ensure code compliance and successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architectural, mechanical, or electrical engineering required.
• Experience with Autodesk software such as REVIT and AutoCAD preferred.
• Internship with a MEP consulting firm is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop 2D and 3D system layouts for MEP projects.
• Create construction documents for client review and permitting.
• Refine designs using AutoCAD and Revit MEP to meet code and client needs.
• Perform engineering calculations for HVAC, lighting, piping, and electrical distribution.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and structural teams to keep projects moving forward.
• Review drawings against applicable building codes and standards.
• Help resolve design challenges and coordinate submittals and RFIs.
• Participate in site visits and commissioning activities.
• Support ongoing professional development and project delivery excellence.
