Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in the Mechanical Piping trade or Mechanical Piping design experience.
• Must possess a professional appearance.
• Must have basic PC experience in Windows environments.

Responsibilities

• Create mechanical piping models using company CAD standards.
• Model systems compliant with project plans and specifications.
• Coordinate piping systems with other building elements.
• Communicate proactively with project managers and field foremen.

Skills

Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural construction documents

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Self-starter, able to work as part of a team and independently

Detail-oriented and ability to meet deadlines

Education

High school diploma or GED

2-year associate degree in drafting or a similar area

Tools

AutoCAD 2014 or higher

Autodesk Fabrication CADmep software
