Job summary

MDS Staffing is seeking an experienced mechanical designer for HVAC and plumbing design in New Brighton, MN. You will work closely with project managers, professional engineers, and electrical designers on diverse projects, including renovations and new construction. Revit proficiency is required; AutoCAD experience is a plus.

• HVAC and/or plumbing design experience.
• 4–10 years of relevant design experience.
• Must be competent with Revit; AutoCAD appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC and plumbing systems for varied projects.
• Prepare load calculations and equipment sizing.
• Edit specifications and create/draw plans; review shop drawings.
• Visit job sites as needed within Minnesota and coordinate with PMs and engineers.
