The role emphasizes coordination across disciplines and adherence to design intent. Requires a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering (preferred) and 2+ years in mechanical design; proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Office, and energy code forms like ComCheck.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in Mechanical Design for commercial building/MEP projects.
• EIT is a plus, but not required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office (Word and Excel), ComCheck and other energy code forms.

Responsibilities

• Production of construction drawings using AutoCAD on all projects assigned.
• Actively participates in the preparation and coordination of project documentation including site survey, design & construction documents and detailing all aspects of a project to comply with the design intent.
• Assists the Studio Director, Sr. Project Manager and Project Manager in the administration of the construction contract.
• Assist in communication and coordination with all consulting disciplines during the design development, construction documentation and construction administration phases of the project.
• Responsible for completion of the “red-line” coordination drawings.
• Assists in project close-out activities of projects.
