Job summary

Consigli Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a Mechanical, Electrical, & Plumbing Intern to support the engineering team in designing and drafting MEP systems on active projects.

The role offers hands-on experience with construction documents, coordination of details, and sustainable design considerations in a real-world setting. Ideal candidates are pursuing a related bachelor’s degree, comfortable with AutoCAD or Revit, and able to read drawings.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Basic understanding of M/E/P systems and sustainable design principles.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or Revit.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Analytical skills to identify design conflicts.
• Experience compiling and analyzing engineering data.
• Familiarity with building codes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing design and construction documents for M/E/P and sustainable design.
• Review and coordinate details and dimensions for accuracy.
• Perform basic drafting tasks and compile engineering data from prescribed sources.
• Research and propose solutions for design document issues.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project teams to integrate M/E/P systems.
• Support review and revision of drawings and specifications to meet codes.
• Help maintain project documentation for management, QA, and regulatory compliance.
