Consigli Construction Co. in New York is seeking a Mechanical, Electrical, & Plumbing (M/E/P) Intern to join the Project Services Group.

This internship provides hands-on experience supporting design and construction documents, coordinating details, and resolving M/E/P issues within a live project environment. You will assist in drafting, perform basic engineering calculations, and research to address conflicts in design documents.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
• Basic understanding of M/E/P systems and sustainable design.
• AutoCAD or Revit experience preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of design and construction documents, addressing general M/E/P and sustainable design challenges.
• Review and coordinate details and dimensions to ensure accuracy and constructability.
• Perform basic drafting tasks and compile engineering data from prescribed sources.
• Research and recommend solutions for design document issues, including conflicts, interferences, and errors.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project teams to integrate M/E/P systems within overall project plans.
• Support the review and revision of drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with industry codes and project requirements.
• Assist in maintaining accurate project documentation to support project management, quality assurance, and regulatory adherence.
