Job summary

Davenport Management & Consulting, LLC is seeking a temporary full-time MEP Field Startup Project Manager (FSPM) to oversee mechanical equipment startup, commissioning, warranty, and field service for projects. You will coordinate with customers, field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet schedule, budget, and quality expectations and drive safe, successful project closeouts.

The role requires leading cross-functional teams, managing project financials, and ensuring documentation

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent.
Minimum five (5) years in PM, field service coordination, warranty administration, HVAC service ops, or related roles.
Proven experience managing HVAC startup, commissioning, installation, maintenance, or replacement projects.
Strong knowledge of construction management principles and project delivery processes.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Understand project scope, contract requirements, and customer expectations.
Develop, maintain, and execute project schedules and milestones.
Monitor budgets and financial performance.
Identify risks and implement recovery plans.
Lead punch-list and project closeout activities.
Coordinate startup, commissioning, warranty, and field service activities with stakeholders.
Ensure documentation and compliance with company standards.
Communicate project status and risk assessments to stakeholders.
