Job summary

Davenport Management & Consulting, LLC seeks a temporary MEP Field Startup Project Manager to lead mechanical equipment startup, commissioning, warranty, and field service activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The MEP FSPM serves as primary liaison between customers, field service personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments, coordinating startup, commissioning, warranty, and service activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM/Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in project management, field service coordination, warranty administration or HVAC service operations.
• Experience managing HVAC startup, commissioning, installation, maintenance or replacement.
• Strong understanding of construction management and project delivery.
• Experience juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to convey technical info to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with SAP or NxGen ERP systems.
• Proficient in MS Office, Teams, PDFs, and Windows apps.
• OSHA 30 Certification and travel ability.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute project schedules and milestones.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and financial performance.
• Coordinate startup and commissioning activities to meet milestones.
• Oversee warranty programs and monitor issues through final resolution.
• Lead daily site meetings and coordinate with customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Ensure safety compliance and manage permits and procedures.
