Job summary

Jobot is seeking an on-site Construction Support Specialist in the Houston area. You will perform site inspections, assist with administration, and review MEP drawings to identify issues, coordinating with engineers, architects, and contractors.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in construction/engineering, strong reading and communication skills, and willingness to travel to active sites. The role offers growth in a dynamic MEP consulting environment with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional experience in construction, engineering, MEP, or related field.
• Ability to read and understand construction documents and MEP drawings.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction site inspections and field observations on active projects.
• Assist with construction administration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review construction documents, specifications, and MEP drawings for issues.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Document field conditions, progress, and deficiencies.
• Review RFIs, submittals, and other construction documentation.
• Ensure work aligns with design, specs, and codes.
• Communicate project updates and field findings to the team.
• Travel to project sites in the Houston area and surrounding markets.
