Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years in MEP construction, inspection, commissioning, or QA/QC.
• Experience with commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, manufacturing, or data center projects.
• Ability to read drawings, specs, equipment schedules and submittals.
• Knowledge of building codes and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations.
• Review construction activities for compliance with plans and codes.
• Inspect MEP rough-in, equipment installation, supports, hangers, sleeves, penetrations, piping, ductwork, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Verify equipment and systems are properly installed prior to concealment.
• Document inspection results, deficiencies, nonconforming work, and corrective actions.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and maintain project documentation.
• Coordinate inspections with contractors, commissioning personnel, engineers, and project management.
• Identify potential quality issues and communicate them to project management.
