Job summary

m2e Consulting Engineers seeks an Engineering Director to lead the MEP department in Florida, guiding complex projects and a team of 8–12 engineers. You will ensure technical integrity, regulatory compliance, and profitable delivery across CR&D, QAS, and FINES, while mentoring staff toward licensure.

You will oversee risk mitigation, technical authority on MEP matters, and collaboration with architects and owners. A Florida P.E. license and strong leadership are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Active Florida P.E. license or ability to reciprocate within six months.
• Valid contractor licenses preferred.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and grow the MEP department (8–12 staff).
• Develop engineers toward licensure and increased responsibility.
• Oversee project delivery, risk reviews, and QA/QC across MEP work.
• Own and manage the MEP department P&L and utilization metrics.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and drive business development.
