Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in the McGregor/Waco area seeks an MEP/Construction Engineer to lead the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of large capital projects. You will collaborate with engineers across disciplines and guide contractors through project milestones.

This onsite role requires travel as needed and a Bachelor's degree in engineering with 3+ years of MEP experience. AutoCAD/Revit skills are a plus for design documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or other engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of professional experience with the design or build of MEP building systems.
• Experience with MEP project delivery from design through commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team, consulting engineers, and contractors throughout the entirety of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning process.
• Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for aerospace, industrial, and commercial type projects.
• Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors across multiple disciplines through contract close-out.
• Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real-time.
• Coordinate with electrical utility provider for design/engineering to ensure reliable power service to critical site infrastructure.
• Interact with engineers, contractors, fabricators, and project stakeholders.
