Job summary

Hatfield Group Engineering, headquartered in New York City with an office in Chicago, seeks motivated MEP/FP engineers to design and size systems for diverse, high-profile projects. Work with principals, clients, and teammates from design through construction administration, contributing to low-carbon design and sustainable outcomes.

You will use HAP, IES, ETAP, Elite and Revit to develop calculations and drawing sets, coordinate with architects and clients, and support project teams in a

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of professional experience within an MEP/FP engineering firm.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; Master’s Degree preferred.
• FE required, PE preferred.
• Plumbing and MEP Coordination skills.
• Electrical Engineering and Building Services skills.
• Experience in MEP systems for large buildings.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work cooperatively in a small design team.
• Proficiency with Revit and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
• Appreciation of good design and enthusiasm for sustainable, low-carbon design.
