Qualifications

• 5–25+ years of mechanical HVAC design experience.
• Strong knowledge of California codes, energy standards, and real-world construction.
• Experience with commercial and/or multifamily projects.
• Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD (and the judgment to know when perfection isn’t necessary).
• PE license preferred (or on track).
• Confidence, curiosity, and the ability to explain why—not just what.

Responsibilities

• Designing HVAC systems that are clean, efficient, code-smart, and buildable.
• Leading mechanical design on various projects.
• Owning projects from concept through construction support.
• Coordinating with architects, owners, and other engineers like a pro.
• Mentoring younger engineers (without babysitting).
• Bringing ideas to the table—and seeing them actually get built.
