Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Project Engineer for our MEP Building Technology team on a project in Shippingport, PA. This is a full-time, in-person position based in the United States.

The role involves on-site trade coordination, material coordination, cost estimation, and interaction with field supervision to ensure project success. Relocation may be needed; Holder is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not sponsor immigration status or benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction/engineering related field or 3+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Outstanding communication and time management skills, computer skills, and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site trade activities and manage material design, fabrication, delivery and installation.
• Read and understand Construction Design Documents and Specifications.
• Perform construction cost estimates and quantity surveys for various scopes of work.
• Overall trade management with exposure to BIM.

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our MEP Building Technology team on our project in Shippingport, PA. This is a full-time, in-person position.

Key Responsibilities

• Initial responsibilities would include on site trade coordination and management, coordination of material design, fabrication, delivery and installation, ongoing interaction with field supervision, management of cost and design issues (change orders, RFI’s, document updates, etc.) and other responsibilities focused on overall project management and success.
• Read and understand Construction Design Documents and Specifications.
• Perform construction cost estimates and quantity surveys for various scopes of work.
• Overall trade management and coordination, and some level of exposure to BIM.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in a construction/engineering related field OR 3+ years of equivalent work experience
• Successful candidates will also possess outstanding communication and time management skills, computer skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred:

• Willingness to relocate as needed.
