Job summary

PTAG in Hamlet, NC is seeking a QA/QC Field Inspector for MEP/electrical disciplines to support critical facility projects. You will perform visual inspections, document findings, and track resolutions per ITPs and project specs.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of field inspection experience on MEP electrical systems, NEC knowledge, and familiarity with ITPs, Procore, and commissioning readiness. This role requires hands-on field work and independent problem solving.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of quality inspections on MEP electrical systems, preferably data centers.
• Strong knowledge of the NEC and inspection/testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of MEP electrical installations per ITPs and project specs.
• Document inspection results with photos and timely records.
• Track observations to resolution and verify corrective actions.
• Coordinate with OFCI vendors and commissioning team to align with schedule.
• Support commissioning readiness and risk communication.
