Job summary

Tejash Electricals Project is seeking a QA/QC MEP Engineer to ensure all Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting installation works comply with drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards.

You will conduct site inspections, review ITPs, maintain quality records, and coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to obtain approvals.

Experience with IS, NBC, IEC, NFPA standards preferred; strong communication and reporting skills are required.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of MEP installation standards, drawings, and inspection procedures.
• Familiarity with QA/QC documentation, ITPs, method statements, and NCR management.
• Ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, and site teams.
• Good communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Inspect MEP installation works, including Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems, as applicable to the project.
• Review approved drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
• Prepare and maintain Inspection Requests (IRs), Inspection & Test Reports (ITRs), checklists, and quality records.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site execution teams for inspections and approvals.
• Identify non-conformities, raise NCRs, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Verify materials against approved material submittals and ensure proper storage and handling.
• Monitor testing and commissioning activities and verify test reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable IS, NBC, IEC, NFPA, and other relevant standards, as specified in the project.
• Assist in preparing quality documentation, snag lists, and final handover dossiers.
