Job summary

S Y Lee Associates, Inc. seeks an experienced MEP Electrical Designer to support the design and production of construction documents for commercial, educational, municipal, healthcare, private, and public-sector projects in California.

The candidate should have strong experience with electrical building systems and be proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit to produce accurate, well-coordinated construction documents in collaboration with engineers and project managers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of MEP electrical drafting/design experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting architectural/engineering drawings.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with engineers and project managers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical construction drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Develop electrical plans, details, schedules, single-line diagrams, equipment layouts, and related documents.
• Coordinate drawings with architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and other disciplines.
• Incorporate markups and comments into construction documents and maintain drafting standards.
