You’ll be producing mechanical and electrical drawings on active projects from concept through construction documents across a broad range of building types and client sectors. Responsibilities include preparing and revising Revit models and AutoCAD drawings, drafting ductwork and piping layouts, electrical one-lines and panel schedules, and equipment layouts under the direction of project engineers. You’ll coordinate drawings with architectural and other engineering disciplines, mark up and redline sets in Bluebeam, and support specification and construction document preparation. You’ll be expected to communicate clearly with project team members and proactively flag coordination issues as they arise.
- Associate's degree or trade/technical certificate in drafting, design technology, or a related field (or equivalent hands‑on drafting experience)
- At least 2 years of drafting/design experience in the MEP industry (mechanical, electrical, or both)
- Working proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow office drafting standards
- Comfortable coordinating drawings across mechanical, electrical, and architectural disciplines
- Exposure to California Title 24 or Energy Code documentation
- Familiarity with federal and military project delivery, including UFCs and UFGS
- Background in civic, institutional, or industrial project types
Primary Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Flexible‑Hybrid work schedule available after the introductory period for candidates who have established their workflow
Salary range for this position is $65,000-$85,000.
