Job summary

ELEN Consulting, Inc. in San Diego seeks a Drafter/Designer to own mechanical and electrical drawings from concept to construction documents across diverse project scopes.

You will produce Revit models and AutoCAD drawings, along with ductwork, piping layouts, electrical one-lines and panel schedules, coordinating with disciplines and supporting construction document prep. A collaborative, growth‑oriented team awaits.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or trade/technical certificate in drafting, design technology, or related field (or equivalent hands‑on drafting experience).
• At least 2 years of drafting/design experience in the MEP industry (mechanical, electrical, or both).
• Working proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow office drafting standards.
• Comfortable coordinating drawings across mechanical, electrical, and architectural disciplines.

Responsibilities

• You’ll be producing mechanical and electrical drawings on active projects from concept through construction documents across a broad range of building types and client sectors.
• Prepare and revise Revit models and AutoCAD drawings, drafting ductwork and piping layouts, electrical one-lines and panel schedules, and equipment layouts under project engineers.
• Coordinate drawings with architectural and other engineering disciplines, mark up and redline sets in Bluebeam, and support specification and construction document preparation.
• You’ll communicate clearly with project team members and proactively flag coordination issues as they arise.
