Key responsibilities

• · Project planning and management: Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for MEP systems.
• · Design coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to integrate MEP systems and review/approve designs, specifications, and drawings.
• · Contractor/Subcontractor Selection: Participate in the overall CM selection process with focus on MEP and Commissioning capabilities. Lead in collaboration with MEP Engineer, subcontractor descope meetings for all MEP trade awards.
• · Construction oversight: Supervise MEP installations, conduct site inspections, and ensure work complies with project requirements and quality standards.
• · IT/AV/Surveillance: Lead the overall design, coordination and implementation of the project IT/AV/Surveillance systems. Work with integrators to ensure seamless installation of their individual turnkey systems as part of the overall construction timeline.
• · Budget and cost control: Manage project budgets, track costs, and identify areas for cost savings or value engineering.
• · Risk and issue management: Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve technical and logistical issues as they arise.
• · Stakeholder communication: Facilitate communication between all project stakeholders, including Engineering, contractors, and internal teams.
• · Compliance and safety: Ensure all MEP work complies with current/applicable building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• · Commissioning and handover: Oversee system testing, commissioning, and final turnover to the operations team, ensuring all systems are performing as designed and all necessary documentation is received.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field is required.
